Tanner Sovereign is a singer/songwriter from Elkhorn, Nebraska. Tanner was influenced and raised by a hardworking, blue-collar family who instilled in him a strong work ethic and a love for music. Country music has always been a staple in the Sovereign family. You could always count on it playing throughout Tanner’s home & family gatherings growing up.  

Tanner began singing at a very young age and started his instrumental journey at just ten years old, selecting the violin as his instrument of choice. Not long after that, he began teaching himself guitar and other instruments. 

Tanner would tell you that the violin began his journey to open many doors and teach him the importance of dedication and performance, which led him to his next love, the guitar. He spent many hours teaching himself how to play, implementing his passion for songwriting. While in college at Concordia University of Nebraska, Tanner began writing and performing small acoustic shows around Nebraska.

Tanner now resides near his hometown of Elkhorn, NE., where he performs full-time as a country music singer/songwriter. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with National Country Music Artists such as Rodney Atkins, Carly Pearce, Craig Morgan, Thompson Square, Morgan Evens, Tim Montana, Jerrod Neiman, Tom O’Connor & many more. While touring, he played the MGM in Vegas, Ft. Lauderdale in Florida, Beale St. in Memphis, and Myrtle Beach, N.C., and spent time playing on Music Row & Broadway in Nashville, to name a few.

Tanner now has multiple original songs streaming on all major platforms. Tanner has a unique range of songs that span from new pop country to old classic country. He plans on releasing multiple songs within the coming years with his new production label based in Nebraska.
